We went for the happy hour and it was a great choice. We all enjoy sushi and are always looking to go to different places. The price was right, the food was delicious (we order 7 different rolls and several appetizers), the service was excellent. Will definitely go back.

This sushi spot scratches the itch when you’re craving some sushi! Immediately when I waked in, I was greeted and seated. I was also given the option to sit at the sushi bar, which was very sweet of the front desk to offer. Don’t let the menu intimidate you with the variety of choices! There are a lot of fun dishes in there as well as some common staples. I got the California hand roll, Philadelphia hand roll and the Chicken Katsu and they were all delicious! Chicken Katsu came with steamed riced and stir fry vegetables. The environment feels very upscale, almost fine dining, with a casual atmosphere. I was checked in regularly with the gentlemen (waiter and trainee with him) who helped me with my meal and given ample of time to look through the menu. Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend!

This was my 1st time eating at this restaurant. Apparently it's a place my sister and one of her friends frequent, so they invited me to join them since I was on that side of town. If you know me, you know I'm a foodie who doesn't pass up good eats, so I met them there during their happy hour. We started with the egg rolls, yaki gyoza pan seared wontons, monkey brain (fried avocado stuffed with spicy tuna, crab, cream cheese, unagi sauce, wasabi mayo) & jalapeño poppers (crab meat, cream cheese, spicy mayo, unagi sauce). The egg rolls were good...would order again. Everything else was just ok. The wontons were browned enough for us snd didn't have much filling inside. The other two appetizers tasted pretty similar to each other as far as flavor & texture. We were trying no sushi items, but the monkey brain & poppers basically tasted like a sushi item. Yes, the word sushi is in the restaurant's name, BUT we didn't order sushi. Lol. Now the entrée was delicious! We got the teriyaki ribeye, that came with steamed white rice & a vegetable medley of carrots, mushrooms, zucchini & broccoli. I substituted my steamed rice for fried rice & enjoyed every aspect of the meal. Our waitress Ny, was kind, attentive & displayed good customer service. Truly appreciated these days. I will definitely go back when in the Woodlands area.

Great sushi! Loved the Truc Roll. Espresso Martini only ok but may be a preference thing. Parking can be tough. We had to park a fair distance away but not a big deal. Service with Jenny was great. Atmosphere very nice. Define quality sushi here.

So glad to make it in time for happy hour. Delicious snack of gyoza and crab puffs. Shout out to our waitress Jenny! She always had a smile and was super sweet about my daughter accidentally splashing soy sauce on the table. The Cali roll rocked with crisp veg and creamy avocado. The strawberry mochi ice cream was so good highly recommended you save room for that.

Visiting from Frisco Texas for Spring Break, Tried for Lunch, the restaurant, Top Sushi in the Shenandoah/Woodlands area of Houston. Really great sushi place with very friendly and accommodating staff and chef. They were able to customize and make sushi rolls vegetarian. Had the Philadelphia roll which they were able to substitute the salmon for avocado and it was real good, also had veggie roll, garden roll which was thinly sliced cucumber rolled with avocado and carrots, cucumber sashimi, avocado sashimi, and veggie udon noodle soup. Everything was fresh, delicious and flavorful. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area.
